Build Story
Bernd Sr. and Bernd Jr. rebuilt the 327 small block Chevy in the 1964 Chevy II Nova.
This project represents a true hands-on mechanical rebuild completed with attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
The Nova was not simply refreshed for appearance — it was rebuilt with a focus on reliability, performance, and doing the job correctly from the ground up.
The engine was carefully rebuilt, the transmission was gone through and properly set up, and the rear gear ratio was upgraded to better match the vehicle’s performance goals.
Additional supporting mechanical work was completed throughout the build to ensure the car operated as a solid, dependable package.
Today, the Nova stands as a reflection of experience, discipline, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship — values that carry through the Lecjaks name in both business and personal projects.
